Solrock - Sinnoh Form

Typing: Ghost/Grass

Ability: Spirit Pressure - The Pokemon changes its form to Shadow Forme (Higher Sp.Atk, Lower Speed,) when it uses a Ghost-type move. It reverts to Solar Forme (Higher Speed, Lower Sp.Atk) when it uses any other move type.

Dex Entry: The root spires of the Sinnoh Solrock contain an extremely potent anti-bacterial sap that is highly sought after.

Bio:
It is theorized that Solrock (and Lunatone) were brought to Sinnoh to study Spear Pillars effect on Psychic powers. When research fell through the scientists released the Pokemon into the wild. In Eterna Forest resides the Old Chateau, a mysterious mansion with a mysterious past. It is said that the Solrock (and Lunatone) made their way here because of the intense spiritual pressure. The years of living in the forest have lead the Solrock to take on the properties its surrounds.

Physiology:
The local flora made its way into its body and roots bursted forth removing the rock spires it once had. Living in the shadows has made its body take on a completely pale coloration. What resembles a constant glow around Solrock while in its Solar Forme is caused by the refraction of light on the tiny spores that float around its body. When Solrock switches to its form to the Shadow Forme the spiritual energy it has build up slowly begins to consume the light surrounding it.

Despite physically still being a rock the drastic change caused by the local flora has forced the switch between Rock-type to Grass type. The spiritual pressure of the forest and the old mansion changed its once Psychic-type into Ghost-type.
